Stop seeking the approval of others

Most of us just want social approval for our views and actions. That's weakness.

That feeling stems from low self-esteem, and an anxiety around being accepted into a group. It is an ancient tribal behaviour, one that we should all strive to rise above.

Social media platforms thrive from this anxiety, as their algorithms reward users with social validations via likes, follows, and reposts. Someone having the "correct" opinions will be rewarded via these ques.

In opposition to that, I would argue that strong people do not worry about what others think, and that trait often leads one into leadership positions.

To be a leader, you often need to be unpopular.
