Verbose versus concise communications

Recently I launched a podcast for the first time, mainly as a way to share my ideas with a new audience that prefer to consume audio instead of reading articles like this. In preparing my scripts for these podcasts, I realized that I am struggling to produce long episodes as I am very concise with my communication style.

For once in my life, I wish I was more verbose as it would help me to pad out my episodes!

Joking aside, I believe time is precious and people should just get to the point. As a leader, the best gift you can give to your team is to stop wasting their time on calls or in meetings, and just get to the point as directly as possible, so that they can get back to their core activities rather than being a captive audience for your pontifications.
