I was watching Jools Holland on the BBC the other night, and as always with that show I discover new music that I had not heard of before. I was completely blown away by Duffy, a Dusty Springfield-like soul singer from Wales. Check this video out on YouTube for an example of what I mean:

I went to HMV today looking for her album, but was sad to find she has not got one out yet! If you like her music, it will be worth keeping an eye on her site for details about her first album which is due out in 2008:
